Jesus in the cartoon

It is saddens me that the folks who believe themselves to be Christians cannot see the faith of the artist when looking at the cartoon of Jesus at the U.S./Mexican border.

It is saddens me that the folks who believe themselves to be Christians cannot see the faith of the artist when looking at the cartoon of Jesus at the U.S./Mexican border. I would suggest that the artist used the term "radical Christianity" because he hesitated to use a more inflammatory term - heretic. In my opinion, that word just might fit.

To those outraged Christians, go and read St. Matthew 25, verses 31-46. How we treat others - and that includes the border guards and their treatment of asylum seekers and refugees - is how we treat Jesus. That also applies in every day life, even far away from political borders.
