Well, I just got an eye opener or should I say a stomach emptier. We have noticed that there is an ugly trend that a horrid polluter is hiding in the wind. We woke up about 15 minutes ago (it is now 11:24 p.m. ) and I panicked thinking the choking stench that woke us up was a natural gas leak, called 911, was put through to the Fire Dept. and was told it was either the pulp mill or the refinery and that no... not life threatening... only an inversion.
That is weird as the wind has been blowing... and we had smelled this after five and on Sunday of this weekend as well only not so shocking as we were not sound asleep. It was worse tonight and given the shock of being woken up to what we thought was a dangerous situation we sure wonder if anyone else downtown is as sick about the stink?
How dumb do we want to continue to be?
