It's nice to be remembered and I see my good friend Todd Whitcombe has made reference to my opinion on consumption taxes.
I favor consumption taxes as they are the most efficient form of taxation. You purchase a good or a service and you pay the tax. No loopholes, no avoidance strategies and no large bureaucracy needed to monitor those loopholes.
Lower income taxes also encourage higher earnings.
