I appreciate civic politicians who ask hard questions and are well informed about the issues that are important to me as a citizen of Prince George.
Snow plowing is very important to me. Shari Green did ask at a council meeting about the cost of plowing residential streets.
Our city is lucky to have that service in comparison to Edmonton where no residential areas are plowed. She used that information to better inform herself and council in budget discussions on the value and cost of snow clearing and Shari has assured me that it is a priority.
It is a shame that many people don't choose to attend or watch council, ask their city councillor the facts, or vote.
Shari has convinced me that roads and efficient snow removal services are a priority for her, and that why she gets my vote for mayor.
Facts and exercising your right to vote are much more satisfying at the end of the day than perceptions and complaints.
