I pay taxes, fix my road

Received my tax notice this week, it was over $4,000 gross. Have owned this house since 1976. My taxes back then were under $500 gross per year. We have no water, sewer, curbs, gutters, garbage pickup, lights, etc.

Received my tax notice this week, it was over $4,000 gross. Have owned this house since 1976. My taxes back then were under $500 gross per year. We have no water, sewer, curbs, gutters, garbage pickup, lights, etc. Nothing has changed in 35 years, except we now have natural gas. Our Cranbrook Hill Road has been renamed Cranbrook Hole Road. I think if we are going to pay big taxes, the city should at least look after our roads. At least 700 people live up here, plus we have the Forest for the World which is one of the major attractions of Prince George. I think we should have a decent road to drive on.
