Finally, concrete evidence about the cost of goods actually increasing once the HST is introduced. The pro HST government propaganda indicates, that once business no longer pays the PST, they'll pass along the savings to the consumer.
That's really telling private sector business to "follow their leader" and pocket the windfall gouged from the consumer.
If you have yet to sign the petition against the HST, give it some thought and take the time to sign. Let's see if the worms squirm.
The question we should be asking is why are we giving "big business" a pass when it comes to paying their way in society. It's blatantly obvious there is never enough profit to satisfy the greed.
Time to put elected officials and non-elected public employees in prison for crossing ethical or legal boundaries. That would be holding people accountable for their actions.
