Have you ever taken a walk around the edges of UHNBC and the Cancer Centre? It is the most depressing area in town, I think. So much money spent on landscaping with bark chips and rocks and shrubs and look at it now! How can we make a new patient from out of town look at this travesty of weeds that no one touches ever?
It makes one wonder what the inside of the buildings will be like, and the staff. Is everyone and thing so messy and dirty? Can't Northern Health spend a little on their landscape and less on spreading offices throughout the city?
If I had the energy and bones of someone 25 years younger, you would see me out there with a bucket and shovel.
