This is a letter for the person or person's that felt compelled to relieve a couple of senior citizens of there hard-earned purchase of birch wood.
Bordering on our property and the city's property was uncut birch wood that someone, and only you know who you are, relieved us of a pick-up load or two. A follow-up load was
attempted on the evening of Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. by two gentlemen in a white pick-up but we were home and my husband approached them about stealing our wood. Their reply was to inform him that they had called the city and were told if its on city land its free for the taking. As it was on the border-line we really were surprised by this information.
The dump truck load we purchased cost $700 and I guess we were lucky you didn't take the split stuff on our property that was already piled.
Thanks again and we hope you enjoy using our wood purchase. Takes all kinds to make a world.
