The referendum on the HST is far too important to decide solely on economics.
Whether dollars are being removed from your left pocket or your right is not as important as honest government.
Backroom politics surely out-trumped good government when this taxation system was stealthily introduced to B.C.
If people took this issue as seriously as the outcome of a Stanley Cup hockey game the cities of our province would be ashes by now.
Be careful politicians. If enough people can contemplate why they must vote YES to say NO to the HST you could find your silver tongues stuck to the railway track.
