Homeless people ruining city for all

I am writing this letter as a law-abiding, taxpaying citizen.

Tonight, I went to deposit a cheque at a downtown bank and see a message to customers on the window stating that we are no longer able to get to the ATM after the bank is closed. So in essence our money is being held hostage... why?

Because of the homeless, street people.

These unfortunate people, who for the most part are being released from the drunk tank in the early hours, are seeking refuge from the weather. I understand this, I pray for them, but they have no right smashing windows, doing drugs, and defecating in the vestibule causing other citizens to fear for their safety while trying to withdraw their money.

Now we are the ones being punished for these acts. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Hey, RCMP, why don't you do your jobs and keep these people away from these areas? They are hustled out by security, only to return as soon as they leave. We need to take care of this, so the other citizens of Prince George can feel safe doing their banking.

No wonder no one wants to go downtown anymore, no wonder the businesses are struggling. It's absolutely embarrassing to go downtown and see the conditions. I, for one, am appalled.
