While travelling to Prince George from Victoria on Tuesday, our car and several others went off the highway on an icy stretch of Highway 97 by 70 Mile House.
We were overwhelmed by the kindness of everyone that day.
To the professional and caring RCMP officer from Clinton, the concerned and compassionate paramedics and Search and Rescue workers, the skilled and kind tow truck drivers that pulled our car out of the ditch, not to mention all the motorists that stopped to ask if we were okay and if we needed anything.
In the news, there seems to be no end to ways that people hate and hurt each other. After our experience on the cold, icy highway, you have given us hope and restored our faith in mankind. That is the best gift of all this holiday season. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and Merry Christmas.
