Highly unappealing and unseasoned

On the subject of hospital food, the one per cent of the budget spent on food is none too nutritious, some would say.

The logical recovery position is for ambulatory persons to head to the Tim Hortons outlet run

by the hospital in the cafeteria - a nice little outing. And there patients pay for their

sustenance, with said payment directed to the hospital. So the meals prepared and presented by the hospital are highly unappealing and unseasoned, while the Tim Hortons is not nutritious

but infinitely more fun than the "trays" presented.

While we believe in healthy pleasures as much as the next person, there is possibly some sort

of mathematical and nutrition madness in this setup? I've heard the waste from the hospital

food trays is approximately 30 per cent.

Schools have been required to clean up their food act. Possibly the value of nutrition should

be considered by someone with authority with respect to the healing process.

Just a thought.
