The U.S., France, Great Britain and various other countries who have recognized the profits of war, are tooling up for the next war in the Middle East.
These countries do not want peace. They want to control the debts of the countries that they support with weapons and the vehicles needed to carry out a modern day insurgency.
Blackwater, a major U.S. supplier of security personnel, (the majority of the 273,000 in Iraq and Afghanistan at the last count) must be one of the U.S.' biggest employers.
To put it in perspective, should the Americans and their allies, including Canada, move to "free Syria" from its government, then we will putting our sons and daughters in harm's way in order to support a bunch of fundamentalist murderers and rapists who chop their enemies' heads off in the local market square.
However, that's their problem; but Prime Minister Harper needs to recognize this and leave well alone.
Tony Blair-often referred to as Tony B-liar is now adding his not insignificant clout to this already virulent situation. Touting himself to governments for huge fees, Bliar sees himself as the personage of the second coming as he sells his brand of socialism that can be "democratically" achieved by heads of state who were recently referred to as butchers.
Yes, the great friend of G.W. Bush, (the liar and the warmonger) is demanding that Britain should support whichever side, so long as they and their "allies" profit from the interference.
Prime Minister Harper must stop sitting on the fence and state categorically that Canada will not arm or send troops to either side. Seriously, if Obama asks for troops, the answer has to be NO. With Iran, Russia and China saying that they will not allow foreign intervention, this is one situation that we must avoid at all costs.
This slaughter is said to be a result of the "Arab Spring". It is already being spoken of in whispers that the American debt and the state of the economy could lead to an "American Spring," as the rich continue to rape the working classes. It isn't just lunatics who are saying that this could happen. Nor is it conspiracy loonies. Mister Harper needs to take note of this kind of talk, if only to have the security services place it in the "Oh! yeah" file.
