On May 18 at about 10 a.m. Hart Drug Mart parking lot, I was unable to enter my car because the battery in the key was dead and the key would not go in the lock.
I stopped a young man going by. He made the same efforts unsuccessfully and accompanied me in to the store where he installed a new battery after checking that I had my wallet to pay for the purchase. Then I was accompanied to my car so he could be sure that I could carry on with my day.
I am so grateful and hope I remembered to thank the young man. Another example of the friendliness of Prince George.
