On Aug. 25 I was in the grocery store parking lot and had came across a little dog in distress that was overheating in a closed Blue Volkswagen.
I had asked to borrow a cell phone to call the animal control or police and the couple next to me stated that they had to pay for all calls made. I would have paid for that and they had no compassion for this little dog who was in distress.
It bothers me that people are cold hearted and have no compassion for animals in this situation. I wonder if it was a child locked up in a car if she would have still been worried about the cost of the phone call.
