Over the the Christmas holidays we had the pleasure of taking a visiting grandchild and her friend to the Hart Highlands Ski hill What a wonderful recreation opportunity for the people of our city. They were amazed at the quality and the price after having taken kids to ski at Whistler and Mt. Washington.
We all noted the friendly, efficient staff who rented skis and gear and served them hot chocolate when it was time to warm up. Good to also see the casual message given to the girls on the wisdom of wearing helmets. They can't hear that too often.
We in the city must try to ignore the national press and their views on our city and be glad we have all the wonderful opportunities we have. Lucky Prigonians!
