My husband and I have just returned to live in Prince George, for family reasons, after an absence of 14 years. We have lived in Kelowna for the past 14 years.
I was absolutely blown away by comments made by your mayor that basically if you have complaints, you should look for "greener pastures."
I guess then we should move back to Kelowna. You would never hear Mayor Gray make that arrogant a statement. Prince George is a great community and the residents deserve more respect from their employees, which the mayor is.
Residents have a right to question where their very high tax dollars are going. The roads are horrendous. We have noted more seniors living here, but I don't think the mayor is aware of this. Getting around with these road/sidewalk conditions is a nightmare.
Unfortunately, so far we have heard nothing positive about this current mayor and council. How sad.
