To the Minister of Education and my MLA,
Nothing's more important than giving our kids a quality education. But too many children are still in crowded classrooms, and are receiving less of the one-on-one attention they need.
Now the BC Supreme Court has reconfirmed that Premier Christy Clark's legislation is unconstitutional, and our teachers' contractual guarantees for smaller classes and more specialist teachers must be restored. Please, respect the court ruling and reach a fair deal with teachers that provides better support for our kids.
I do not understand why the government has forgotten how school is a very important part on educating and forming our children for the future, they spend most of the lives in school, I can say that I am very thankful for all the teachers that was part of my sons life, and help him become the person he is today. Teachers are role models for our children's. All they are asking for is a fair deal to keep on being the role models and educating our children to become great people for the future.
