Thank you Nathan Giede for your refreshingly conservative weekly columns. I'm sure you are used to the attacks from liberals like Norman Dale (Dec. 1, Opinion page) who has been so indoctrinated by an overwhelmingly liberal media bias that he seems blind to the facts. The Democrats and their leadership, especially under Obama, continually fuel racism in order to keep the black voting block (as with the case in Ferguson, Mo.). Also, they, like Mr. Dale, try to stifle legitimate debate by calling any opposition to Obama as being racist when it has everything to do with his far left ideology.

The media did not do its job of questioning Obama's radical past during the Democrat nomination process or the presidential election and instead gave him a free ride into the White House. He was their guy all the way - just ask the Clintons. In his first two years with Democrat control of all three levels of government, he rammed through the 5,000 word Obamacare legislation which no one had time to read and the Democrat House Leader famously said, "Just pass it and then we'll see what's in it." They accepted no input from the Republicans and then call them partisan for not voting for it.

In 2010, the Tea Party folks battled both the Democrats and Washington Republicans to lead to the largest turn around in the congress in 50 years in 2010. That wasn't a "well-financed defeat of moderate Republicans" but a grass roots movement motivated by a massive debt and ever growing control by a central government in defiance of the constitution.

The recent election results were, as Nathan said, a resounding rejection of Obama and his policies, particularly Obamacare. The claims of "You can keep your doctor," "You can keep your plan," "the cost will go down," and "it's not a tax" all turned out to be false and came back to bite Obama and his party. Many Democrat candidates tried desperately to distance themselves from Obama this election. And still, as Republicans have taken control of the Senate, the Congress, and most State governorships, Obama goes on bypassing Congress, showing his disdain for the Constitution and ruling by imperial edict. He'll go down as the most divisive, narcissistic president ever.

Keep up the great work, Nathan. I look forward to your view each week.
