My husband and I along with some good friends all attended the Cougars hockey game on Friday night. It was a great event! We were all thrilled over our gift of the T-shirt from the hockey team and we were all having fun until I discovered that I had lost an earring. It was a very special earring that was a gift from Lino while we were on a trip to Italy.
First of all I want to say thank you to everyone in our section that helped look for my earring. No kidding, one of the seniors actually had a flashlight in her purse! It was a great help but we could not find it.
Later on we went in search of the lost and found department. The gal there was so helpful and believe it or not someone had found my earring and turned it in.
Thank you so very much to the Good Samaritan that not only found my very special earring but also took the time to turn it in. You absolutely made my day! It was great to get the earring back but more important it is nice to once again reinforce the fact that there are still thoughtful and honest people among us. Actions such as this really do restore one's faith in the world and this is good news worth sharing with the people of Prince George.
