We would like to thank The Citizen newspaper and Ted Clarke for printing the informative article about Joe Kelly (front page April 2 'fleet of feet'), listing some of his personal accomplishments and his contributions to this community. You captured the kind of person Joe was and how he had a positive impact on those around him, qualities we could all strive for. Joe and his wife Laura also touched many Australians during their three year stay who are all equally saddened by his sudden passing. My wife and I had the good fortune of meeting and interacting with their Aussie friends just before this tragic accident. Both running groups, in P.G. and Australia, recently held a small morning run to honour Joe's memory. We now look forward to Laura's return to Prince George.
