Gang violence not just in streets

Crime in Prince George is not just for gangs. I was woken at 3 a.m. with a frantic phone call from a young teen who had just been jumped by four adult men by the Foothills Bridge area.

Crime in Prince George is not just for gangs.

I was woken at 3 a.m. with a frantic phone call from a young teen who had just been jumped by four adult men by the Foothills Bridge area. Apparently these men thought it would be a "challenge'' to beat up a couple of young boys who were having a few drinks. Underage drinking is not condoned, nor is the fact they were out at 3 a.m. However, does that give these grown men the right to viciously beat-in the faces of these boys for a bottle of booze and 60 dollars?

Perhaps the police missed the giant bonfire off the Foothills Bridge when they drove by. Or perhaps they did not drive by at all that night, and were busy looking for gang houses to bust.
