Four-year terms a bad idea

The suggestion to have municipal elections every four years. This is ridiculous. We have people in there now that we cannot get rid of as it is. Why should we have to wait four years to kick them out.

Should we not be advised of the money received from lotteries and natural gas as well as an explanation of where our tax dollars are going.

We used to receive a pie chart that would explain some of the budget.

As far as budgets go, when it is said that the budget is balanced, well that is only a budget not actual expenditures of the tax and other dollars that the city received. When was the actual expenditures balanced with the budget?

When it comes to various governments I can think of many ways to cut the budgets. Whenever there is an increase in taxes the council and mayor always take an increase. If the public are actually paying their wages then this should be on a referendum each election year. Or perhaps they should receive the increase like us seniors and get the massive $8 per month on our pensions when groceries have increased by 27 per cent last year.
