Follow-up frustrations

A month or so ago I wrote that with our new cancer clinic here we are not funded for gynecologists to do their jobs efficiently, nor do we have the equipment here that I am sure everyone has helped to support to get. I am completely frustrated.

I am completely frustrated. I call my doctors, I get told the referral has been sent. I call ambulatory care, I get told the letter hasn't been sent yet. I call the office of the gynecologist that saw me at copolscopy clinic and was told that he dictated it that evening, that he saw me (July 18) and sent it to Vancouver as urgent.

I know the situation is getting worse and no one can give me a number to call. I pay my medical and all the fees etc. Why the heck aren't the doctor's following up for their patients?

Eight months just to get the biopsy done and now what? I sit and wait until it's worse?

CIN3 is not cancer they say. Right. How long until it turns that way?

I have been classified as urgent by two doctors. Family and specialist.

If they were in my shoes would they not worry? Get it together people.
