Congratulations northern B.C. advisor and chairman, fire fighters Ian Provan and Shane LaPierre for receiving Muscular Dystrophy Canada's Public Relations Award for Western Canada for raising almost $30,000 during the successful Roof Top Camp Out, Boot Drive and Sparky's Halloween Mall Walk.
These are just a few examples of the wonderful help and support these two fire fighting leaders give the local Muscular Dystrophy group.
Deputy Chief Kelly Zacharias of Smithers received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal during the award ceremony that was held in Vancouver over the weekend.
These unbelievable awards would not be possible without all of you, the citizens and businesses of Prince George, that donate so generously to help us cope with neuromuscular disorders.
