Fill used by city on Betham Road contains dangerous junk

Thanks to the City for raising Betham Road road last year just before THE last snowfall. We appreciate the deeper ditches for spring run off. We do not appreciate the fill that you used because it is very dangerous.

We do not appreciate the fill that you used because it is very dangerous. Every time you grade the road I, and my neighbours, go out and pick up pails of spikes, nails, screws, metal shards, glass, red brick, cement with iron in it, etc. Dangerous for any one to walk barefoot on or fall on, also it's a hazard to vehicle tires.

I approached City Hall with my buckets of goodies, and was sent to see a supervisor at City yards. They said they would look into it and get back to me. Over a month has gone by and nothing has been done.

Now City of P.G., what are you going to do? Lift this crap you used and put in clean fill or, put some recycled pavement over it, or, wait until someone gets hurt or has a car accident and a lawsuit before anything is done?
