Fifteen years worth of memories stolen

On Nov. 8 a car that was parked on Rupert Street near 5th Avenue was broken into, and a laptop and projector were stolen.

The car belonged to Hilary Crowley, a physiotherapist, who 15 years ago founded a local charity, named SODA, which raises money to support disability clinics in India.

Nov. 8 was the second of a three-night fundraiser, and the laptop and projector were to be used to show slides of the work that Hilary and SODA has done in India. The theft occurred one hour before the event was to start, and with the help of Rob Watt (who we can't thank enough), Hilary was able to cobble together a slide show for the fundraiser.

Unfortunately, the stolen laptop contained a 15-year collection of pictures of Hilary's work, and this is a loss of invaluable information for Hilary and for this charity that helps impoverished disabled people.

We would greatly appreciate any information about the whereabouts of this laptop and projector, no questions asked.

It is and Acer laptop in a black case. Please call (250) 564- 6710.
