The wrong table was sold at a garage sale the morning of Saturday, May 22, at approximately 10 a.m. at 124 Bedford Place (Ft. George Park area), where proceeds were being raised to purchase a roof for a school in Tanzania, Africa.
Timber's Community Church women's wednesday morning group was hosting the garage sale. The gentleman who bought the table, also purchased a chair and love seat (without cushions).
He had to take two trips with his white Sedona minivan, in order to carry the items back to his home. We are aware that he has four children, four years of age and under. He also has another child on the way.
The table was accidentally brought to the garage sale. It is a family heirloom, which was passed on to one of our donators when her mother passed away.
If you or anyone you know has information that would help recover this item, please contact The Prince George Citizen immediately and ask for Mick.
The owner is willing to return the money and also provide the gentleman with a further monetary reward.
