The Saudis' are dumping approximately 650,000 barrels of oil every day onto our east-coast refineries, which is the equivalent daily production of Penn West Exploration, based in Calgary and struggling to remain solvent.
For some strange reason, it is perfectly fine to compromise the East Coast with an oil spill but taboo on the west side. Justin Trudeau has banned oil tankers from the west coast, thus Enbridge is stalling the pipeline construction to Kitimat.
Hopefully, Christy Clark will ignore the federal government. Banning west coast tankers is akin to stopping all vehicle production because they are polluters. The oil spills that occur are nothing when you consider what this is doing to our economy and Canadian families. The effects are astronomical.
We have made a massive mistake electing these Liberals to power. Families are losing everything, thanks to environmentalists, the Green Party and Justin, none of them who give a damn.
It appears more important to puff up your chest and get your face in the media than to make sound decisions for your country and fellow Canadians.
