Explanations needed

Here we go again. Overnight, prices on a liter of fuel raise by 12 cents. The multinational oil companies have not offered any reasonable explanation for this huge increase.

With the cost of a barrel of crude in the low $50 range a litre of fuel should be no more that 80 cents a litre. The greedy multinationals know this. During the last economic recovery, these same greedy people raised the price of fuel. This I would argue slowed the pace of recovery and we slid back into recession before recovery was complete.

I can't blame all of our problem on the oil industry.

The big warehouse stores have set number personnel needed and so this controls wage increases in middle class.

When we are not making wage gains our government slides into deposit financing and has been since 2002. The recovery periods have been getting smaller and smaller. I believe that the next recession will start in late 2019 after the election. I'm of the opinion its time for Canada to bring these people up on the carpet and explain themselves. It may well require the enactment of laws. This greed has got to be addressed.
