Recently the Prince George Citizen continued their war on women.
In the fall and through the winter, the Citizen in their wisdom, felt the need to cover every salacious detail of two young women who were in court testifying about abuse at the hands of their stepfather. The Citizen could spare no detail, as they felt it in the public interest to report, repeatedly, every sordid detail.
Again on June 26th, in an unrelated case, The Citizen again felt the need to print the coroner's report of the death of a young lady. No salacious detail was left unprinted. No thought given to the emotions or feelings of grieving grandparents, family or friends.
Management at the Citizen know no bounds in their effort to sell one more newspaper.
If young women need to be crushed in that crusade, the Citizen has shown their standard.
Again, I call for a new editor and publisher at the Citizen as Prince George deserves better.
This management group consistently demonstrates no original thought or intellectual creativity.
