Driveway not a public toilet

On Thursday, Oct. 25, there was an accident on the Mud River Hill west of Prince George, which had traffic backed up for quite a distance. We live in that area and it seems that a lot of people do not have consideration for people that live in the country. On this particular night one of the vehicles, stopped in the line of traffic, pulled off on to our road and decided to use my driveway as a washroom. Now if they would have driven, or walked, another 20 feet down the road, they would have had trees to water and it wouldn't have upset me so much. We see this quite frequently, as well as people depositing the garbage for others to clean up. There is no reason these people can not take their garbage to the next gas station that they see and deposit it there as well as waiting to use the restroom. We do not drive into town and relieve ourselves in someone else's driveway or deposit our garbage for others to clean up and would appreciate the same consideration.

When travelling the highway, most people plan a little and realize that it might be an hour or so before they are able to use a washroom again, so they take care of business before leaving home. I wonder though, if these same people toss their garbage out of their vehicles as they drive around the city?

We have met some really nice people, and helped them out if they were in trouble, but the few that are like the occupants of the car on Oct. 25 really put a bad light on everyone that pulls into our road.

We would appreciate a little consideration out here.
