Downtown doesn't need another club

In reply to the letters regarding Coyote's nightclub.

Revitalizing a downtown does not take nightclubs.

Revitalizing a downtown takes downtown residents that frequent the downtown restaurants, shops and studios that then become more appealing to other members of that

community that don't live downtown.

This is slowly happening in Prince George.

If the residents of Prince George want downtown to revert back to what downtown used to be, add more nightclub seats and more drunken Friday nights.

The nightclub business is built on selling alcohol, and what havoc that wreaks, not on proper neighbourly conduct.

If you care about downtown Prince George, write a letter to the City Planner, Jesse Dill, or e-mail at [email protected] by Feb. 13, after which the planner will make recommendations to City Council.
