Mr Fantino, this effort to use Remembrance Day to advance your political agenda is lower than a snake's belly. It offends me, given that it was an NDP MP moved to make it a national holiday. Meanwhile, you are doing nothing to fix the problems with the VAC, VRAB or the service delivery for veterans suffering from PTSD. People are dying and you are by omission responsible for this. Do something more than wag your tongue.
Where are the counselors promised? How will you fill those positions when OSI clinics cannot even maintain current staffing levels?
On Remembrance Day, I will be thinking of my two brothers and one sister who have served and my father and his four brothers who served in the Second World War. Dad was 17 in 1942 when he joined the navy.
