Doing more for cancer cause

This March we lost our beautiful daughter in-law to cancer. You don't think it will hit your family but it hit ours and the loss is devastating.

This March we lost our beautiful daughter in-law to cancer.

You don't think it will hit your family but it hit ours and the loss is devastating.

Our family has been helping out with the Evening of Pink for about six years because we feel it is a great cause.

This year is the last year for the Evening of Pink so we would like to see the city donate the Civic Centre and forgo the rent for the event, so more money can go to the cancer cause.

There is a lot of volunteer work that goes into this event, people need to donate to it and get out and support it.

There are still tickets left for the Sept. 20 event.

All proceeds stay in Prince George.

Thank you Monica, for sticking with the cause for 10 years.
