Diseased forest blamed on climate change

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed the massive level of disease in our forest this year. We purchased a home on a couple acres near Tabor Lake and a second summer has shown our trees are diseased and likely at risk of death.

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed the massive level of disease in our forest this year. We purchased a home on a couple acres near Tabor Lake and a second summer has shown our trees are diseased and likely at risk of death. Most concerning is the giant spruce and fir trees. Not to mention massive amounts of blight affecting birch, willow, dogwood and pretty much every plant.

While being able to advertise our house for sale with a lake view may up some equity, it will not likely offset the devastation and cost of removal of so many old and very large trees. If anyone has any answers, places to turn for information or similar concerns, it would be good to know. I fear that we are in for yet another massive and devastating example of climate change. They said our boreal forests are dying and this seems very true this year, even aside from the fires. What forest is left is very sick and very worrisome.
