As a Canadian citizen I'm offended by Mr. Salim's disavowment to the Queen.
Sure I'm not so big on the Queen's monarchy either, but we let this person enter our country, work and raise his family here, gave him a good paying job and offered him citizenship to our country. He takes the citizenship we give him then slaps all Canadians in the face with his disavowment, right after he is a Canadian citizen.
I think that's a pretty low blow
