As someone who was an Instructor in CNC's ECE program, I was saddened to hear that the daycare was deemed to be nonessential to the program and could be closed. Simply put, the daycare is the lab component; I can think of no other situation where a lab could be eliminated with the explanation that this would not affect the program.
