I am writing in response to the City Council, cutting back on the police budget.
I am taken back by this action, since Prince George was nominated most dangerous city, twice.
It's going to be interesting to see how the police are going to ensure the safety of Prince George's residence and visitors. As we well know RCMP already are operating a bare bones budget.
Now they need to scrape the bottom of the barrel. Well I cant say I am surprised by this. Since the election of Mayor Green, Prince George has been on a downward slide.
Worst roads in Canada for 2 years. Most dangerous city twice. What next?
Sometimes I wonder if this is another ploy for our mayor to get a photo op on the 5 o clock news or if they just stopped caring about the people of Prince George.
