CRA office closure irony

How ironic is this? Not comfortable doing Canada Revenue business on the phone, on a computer or at the bank? Not a problem, use the CRA office downtown.

How ironic is this? Not comfortable doing Canada Revenue business on the phone, on a computer or at the bank? Not a problem, use the CRA office downtown. Unfortunately, the CRA office that offered payment and inquiry counter services to the general public (for those without access to computers, banks, telephone banking - you could speak to a real person, face-to-face) forever closed its doors as of Oct. 1. Flyers were offered outside the entrance asking that the general public "say no to the cuts and tell us how you are affected." How? Well, that's easy. On the computer that you don't have access to or are uncomfortable using - the very reason you would be visiting this office - go to weareallaffected.ca. That's pretty ironic.
