In response to Larry Strachan's letter Mar. 27/12.
Larry this letter is meant to be informative, not attacking. Ted Coole is a very smart businessman. If you would have checked a little further (like Ted did), you would have found out that a private group cannot purchase a non-profit group's liquor license. You would have to re-apply for a new license. This would take about a year or so (he already had one approved in principal for Coyotes). With the surrounding neighborhood around the proposed Coyotes site up in arms, imagine what the Inn of the North, Commonwealth Medical Center, Goldcap Motor Inn, the art gallery, and the Days Inn would have to say about a 400 seat Nightclub next door. It would be the same ol' dance. Ted did not blow
it, he investigated the situation and made a smart decision based on facts.
He then decided not to pursue that venture. That's what really happened.
Hope you are having a good day Larry.
