It is hard to believe that we are well into the month of October already!
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and that each of you have many reasons to feel thankful. Thanksgiving Day started out in 1957 as an annual Canadian holiday to give thanks at the close of the harvest season.
Speaking about the harvest season: How about that giant prize winning pumpkin weighing in at 2,009 pounds! Now that is a fair amount of pumpkin pie.
People news: Mike and Clasina Van Adrichem have been in Prince George for just over 50 years. They moved here from Vancouver Island and never left.

They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

I asked the couple what they felt was their greatest accomplishment and they both said, "A long marriage".
