I have to say I was not the least bit surprised that the city is not going to divulge the cost of the Skakun affair. There is only one reason in my opinion that they would not release this information. The cost was outrageous. Maybe someone from City Hall could accidentally release it.
The new mayor said she would do things differently if she got in.
I heard several councillors say they would not support layoffs, but it seems they now do.
Mayor and councillors, roll back your salaries and put projects that are not necessary on hold. Where is the mayor's new Committee of Business people, they should explain the real world to her and council. You couldn't run a business this way, you would be bankrupt.
