Well how very nice that the city council has appointed four people (doesn't mention what we are paying them) to a committee tasked with figuring out how much to pay the mayor and council. The mayor presently makes just about $93,000 a year while each councillor gets about $31,000 a year. If our mayor cannot live on that kind of money(not to mention all the other perks that go with her job, then swe best not be paying her anymore.
As for the councillors I want them to know that I lived on less than that my whole years of working (which were many) so I think they too can stay where they are. They could have saved a whole bunch of money and just asked the taxpayers of PG and we would have answered free of charge. Hope we get a detailed list of all their so-called duties before any of them get more money
