After spending a lot of time watching what is going on with our WHL team, you have got to be impressed. Led by Greg Pocock from the front office down, all of the staff go out of their way to make fans feel appreciated. After talking to volunteers that I know they feel very good about what is happening.
There is a friendly happier environment than there was before, it's like a breath of fresh air and people are slowly returning. The team will take time to build but it is coming faster than some think.
A lot of money and hard work by this new ownership group have developed a state of the art dressing room lounge area as well as upgrading everything possible to attract the best hockey people possible to come here.
I applaud and very much appreciate this new local ownership.
