To all the parents of DP Todd and Heritage who thought that the classroom sizes would get smaller, well think again! The former Highglen school which burnt down a few years ago will not be rebuilt!
The City of Prince George is having an open house on Tuesday June 20 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. for our input of the future rezoning of this site. The school district has asked for rezoning of this vacant land.
Whether it is single/multiple family units that are built on the site this will only increase the size of the presently overcrowded classroom.
I invite all parents to voice their opinion on June 20 and/or contact their MLA asking them what happened to the 2017 B.C. Liberal platform "as much as
$2 billion would be spent by Christy Clark's party in the next three years to build new schools, fix up old schools and address areas of enrollment growth."
We are only 30-plus days into the next four years with the B.C. Liberals, just think what is left to come.

Prince George
