Climate change is real and those that claim it is not are fools. Those that believe climate change is entirely the result of man's use of fossil fuels are also fools. Those that believe emphatically that we have the ability to stop climate change and by extension of that we must have the ability to control the world climate in perpetuity are undoubtedly the biggest fools of all.
When the first drop of water melted from the ice sheet covering most of the northern hemisphere, climate change began and it continues to this day.
The people who berate climate change use negativity combined with our natural fear of change. They talk of melting polar ice and the disappearance of some species of flora and fauna, as if it is an unimaginable tragedy which it is not, it is nature and the evolution at its finest. Climate change is probably the most spectacular and beautiful events of nature as it encourages evolution.
Canada is renowned for its natural beauty and that is the result of climate change, from the smallest blade of grass to the tallest trees along with the abundant variety of wild life that live in our wilderness, without climate change none of this would exist today.
Climate changes is an absolute necessity to the well-being of this planet as it drives the evolutionary process in the development of all living things upon this world.
As I understand i,t the world is still experiencing "rapid climate change." Rapid as in geological time, which is measured in thousands of years. It is now believed that this rapid climate resulted in the extinction of the Neanderthal species. A rapidly changing landscape, the loss of animals they hunted and the inability to adapt to the speed of climate change, leaving modern man with our ability to quickly adapt to change as the sole survivor of the hominid species.
The battle cry of the uninformed and those with an ideological belief or those that live in fear because they are told to fear that which they cannot understand.
If our prime minister wishes to work at lowering emissions by all means proceed, but not under the pretense of stopping climate change as this is pure stupidity and I think you are astute enough to realize that global climate change is inevitable as we cannot control all the varying components that to into creating this awe inspiring beautiful driver of nature and evolution.
