I've lived in Prince George since 1962 but what happened to me on Oct. 29 was the most pleasant surprise that I have ever had happen to me.
First let me explain. I am 72 years old and physically challenged. (Some say mentally also!)
When I woke up there was six inches of snow in my driveway. I walk with a cane so you can see my problem. As I began to shovel my driveway I noticed four young people, approximately 16 to 22 years of age, helping my neighbour move. They came over and asked if they could help me. They said they were from Future Scents and that they went around helping out senior citizens in need and they would be happy to help me and that there would be absolutely no charge. Within minutes they had my driveway completely cleared of snow.
I was only able to talk to Clayton and Alana, but I just wanted to say thank-you again to all of you for your help. I'm very grateful to have met you. You have certainly restored my faith in mankind.
