Clear as mud

I have not read the Clarity Act in some time although I often refer to it as I am sure most other Canadians do. The Citizen ran an editorial from the Toronto Star.

I have not read the Clarity Act in some time although I often refer to it as I am sure most other Canadians do.

The Citizen ran an editorial from the Toronto Star. It seems that their editors have not read the Clarity Act or they don't understand the meaning of the word "clarity".

The editorial ends with the following ridiculous sentence, "The Clarity Act also says the yes side must carry by more than a thin margin". There it is. Absolutely crystal clear.

There can be no doubt whatsoever about the meaning of a "thin margin". I am so pleased that the Toronto Star chose to enlighten us. It is so ironic that the writer of an editorial about the Clarity Act could not do so with clarity.
