Just so the Eaglet Lake Farmers Institute's intentions are clear with respect to Graymont, I thought I would clarify it for you after reading the article "Farmers' group still waging battle against lime plant" (June 14, 2017).
ELFI has taken a watchdog approach to Graymont and the municipal government. We have been thoroughly investigating their assessments as well as attempting to hold them accountable to the misleading facts that both are giving the public to which we have on audio recording. ELFI is not against development but does have concerns on how the proceedings are taking place. ELFI exists to support community development in rural areas and the protection of farmland and the people that live within it.
